Valance Light Installation

Valance lights are the easiest install we sell. They are plug and play with weatherproof quick connectors, so there is no splicing and nothing to cut, which also means the whole thing comes back off without leaving a mark.

Which kit size?

The kits come in 10, 15 and 20 piece. A full kit runs up to 9 feet of total length, so pick on the run you need to cover rather than the vehicle type.

On a shorter run you do not need a smaller kit, the lights simply sit closer together, which most people prefer anyway because the line reads as continuous instead of dotted. If you are between sizes, size up.

They are universal: trucks, RVs, big rigs and anything else with a valance to run them along.

Before you start

Dry-fit the whole run before you stick anything down. Lay the strip along the valance, space the lights how you want them, and only then commit, the quick connectors make this genuinely quick, and it is far easier than repositioning later.

Every light is fully gel-injected, so weather and washes are not a concern once they are on.

Power

These run off the same wiring as everything else we sell. If you are adding valance lights to a truck that already has rock or wheel lights on a harness, they can share it. If this is your first set, see the accessories guide for which harness to pick.
