RGBW Wheel Light Installation Guide
To ensure warranty coverage, follow these instructions carefully. Improper installation may void warranty eligibility.
Start by parking your vehicle on a secure, level surface. Safely jack up the vehicle to remove the wheels, then carefully remove the brakes and rotor to access the dust shield area. Position the wheel light ring, ensuring even spacing on the dust shield. Remember, each set includes two directional rings per side for optimal lighting.
Use the bracket's pre-drilled holes to securely bolt the ring to the dust shield. Make sure the top of the ring, where the wire and plug emerge, is aligned at the top, closest to the brake line. Proper placement is key to maintain warranty coverage.
Mount the RGBW controller module in a central position under the hood, ensuring it allows the extension cables to reach each wheel light from all four corners. Route the wiring along the brake lines, leaving enough slack for steering and suspension movement. Ample slack will help prevent stress on solder points, ensuring durability.
Run the positive and negative wires from the RGBW controller directly to the battery. Depending on your vehicle's size, you may need to extend the power wires to reach the battery.
Congratulations! With your RGBW wheel lights securely bolted, wired, and connected, you're ready to enjoy vibrant, dynamic lighting. For any questions, please reach out to us at sales@southernlumen.com.
